WHAT:
Chefs Jaime Martin Del Campo and Ramiro Arvizu of restaurant La Casita Mexicana in Los Angeles, CA and ConAgra Foods celebrate Mother’s Day weekend with free Cooking Camps. The chefs will be on hand to share their authentic, healthy, and tasty Mexican food recipes. They’ll show participants how to create fun and healthy family dishes using PAM Cooking Spray, Rosarita Refried Beans, and Ro*Tel Tomatoes and Green Chilies. Some of the dishes include Potato Soup with Spicy Tomato, Tilapia Adobada, and for dessert, a Cactus Bundt Cake with Tequila Cactus Icing. Participants will receive an official Cooking Camp apron and H-E-B goodie bag filled with H-E-B discount coupons, Cooking Camp Recipes and PAM Recipe Booklet containing traditional Mexican food recipes.

WHO:
Chefs Jaime and Ramiro opened their restaurant doors more than five years ago and are best known for their mole blanco. They have been featured on many televised cooking shows and selected as the “best representatives of traditional Mexican food” in California, by critics, newspapers and magazines on national and international levels.

Friday, May 12 and Saturday, May 13 from 11 am – 5 pm. Day of event, at H-E-B location, media interviews with chefs are available from 10-11 am and 5-6 pm and by appointment the day before.
