Glendale, CA--(HISPANIC PR WIRE)--April 30, 2007--Cocinando con Nestlé Chef Lorena Garcia, celebrity chef on Telemundo’s “Cada Día con Maria Antonieta”, celebrated Cinco de Mayo in Los Angeles cooking “live” for her fans at Fiesta Broadway, the largest Cinco de Mayo celebration in the nation, this past weekend. She also put the red, white and green in a delicious taco recipe.

At the Cocinando con Nestlé corner, thousands of cooking fans had the unique opportunity to learn from Nestlé Chef Lorena García how to prepare delicious and easy food recipes made with NESTLÉ(R) LA LECHERA(R), MAGGI(R), ABUELITA(R) and NESCAFÉ(R) brands. Several fans also walked away with gift baskets filled with Nestlé products and merchandise.

“Nestlé products are a big part of my inspiration and essential ingredients for preparing main dishes, desserts, and beverages that have an authentic, home-made taste,” Garcia told her fans at Fiesta Broadway.

Also, to celebrate this Cinco de Mayo, Chef Lorena prepared the following traditional, easy-to-make and delicious recipe with one of the most popular and typical Mexican dishes of all times -- the taco:

CILANTRO CHICKEN TACOS

INGREDIENTS
3 cups fresh cilantro or parsley leaves
1 can (7.6 fl. oz.) NESTLÉ Media Crema
1 cup water
3 cloves garlic, peeled
4 teaspoons MAGGI Granulated Chicken Flavor Bouillon
3 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons all-purpose flour
5 to 6 (about 1 1/2 lb. total) boneless, skinless chicken breast halves, cooked and kept warm
Warm corn tortillas
Finely diced tomatoes, onions, green bell peppers and chopped fresh cilantro (optional)

DIRECTIONS
PLACE 3 cups cilantro, media crema, water, garlic and bouillon in blender; cover. Blend until smooth.

MELT butter in medium saucepan over medium heat. Stir in flour until smooth. Stir in cilantro mixture. Cook over medium-low heat, stirring constantly, until mixture comes to a boil and thickens slightly. Season with ground black pepper, if desired.

POUR sauce over chicken breasts. Serve with warm corn tortillas, diced tomatoes, onions, green bell peppers and chopped cilantro.
