FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida, Nov. 26, 2018 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — According to CBS News, there are 12,800 children in detention centers across the United States as of September 2018. That number increased from 2,400 children in May 2017 and it shows no signs of slowing down. That means that this year children will be spending their holidays in immigration centers.

US Immigration Bonds has decided to do something to bring joy to these children, because every child deserves a happy holiday. That’s why the company created the Holiday Without Borders initiative, an immigration charity drive to bring joy by delivering toys for children in detention centers.

The idea is the brainchild of Ms. Sanchez. While at church, she saw all the letters to Santa that children in detention center had written in years past. She asked company owners Richard and Margy Wolf for help, and they all decided that buying toys for children in detention centers is the best way to make their holiday more bearable. We want to bring a bit of hope, a bit of light a small amount of the holiday cheer to children who are stuck in detention centers in the U.S.A.

Our goal is to reach $20,000. Please donate what you can to brighten up the holidays for these kids and to send them toys that will make their entire holiday a little better.
