La Raza Newspaper, Chicago’s leading Hispanic publication, has been serving the Hispanic community for 33 years as a weekly newspaper. La Raza will continue to publish approximately 200,000 copies of the printed version of the publication every Sunday for distribution throughout Chicagoland. However, now the On-line version of the award-winning publication will be published daily.

La Raza Newspaper was one of the first U.S. Hispanic newspaper sites to publish a digital version on the Internet. The On-line publication was established in 1996.
Currently, La Raza Online receives tens of thousands of visitors each week and with our expansion to daily, we expect the number to increase dramatically, stated Miguel Mendez, On-line Sales Manager. “Our readers are asking for more news, more sports and more entertainment. Therefore, providing them with daily updates on the web including exciting contest and promotions, we should enjoy a tremendous competitive advantage,” proclaimed Mr. Mendez.
La Raza On-line has become one of the most frequented sites for Latino news in the Chicagoland area, as well as, one of the most prestigious U.S. Hispanic sites attracting visitors from around the world. La Raza On-line has been recognized by the industry for its quality and design and has won the National Association of Hispanic Publication’s award for best web site in 2003.
La Raza On-line is continuing to push the envelope and has become a founding member of the Hispanic Digital Network (HDN), the first network of Hispanic publications On-Line. HDN currently has more than 22 subscribers and is expected to reach more than 50 by year’s end. HDN is representing the network by offering advertising opportunities to national clients interested in reaching the Hispanic Internet consumer.
