WASHINGTON, May 4 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — Despite the nation’s economic challenges, two national leaders make it a priority to fund important programming to advance the Hispanic community and build future Hispanic leaders.
Comcast Corporation and the Cruise Industry Charitable Foundation are the top-level supporters of the Congressional Hispanic Leadership Institute’s 5th Annual Gala and Leadership Awards to be held Wednesday May 13, 2009.

This year at the awards dinner, CHLI is honoring United States Senator Robert Menendez of New Jersey with its 2009 Leadership in Public Service Award and Former President of Spain Jose Maria Aznar with its 2009 Leadership in International Relations Award.
