Miami, FL–(HISPANIC PR WIRE – BUSINESS WIRE)–December 15, 2006–The international law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP announced today that the Board of the recently opened Carnival Center for the Performing Arts has elected Shareholder Juan P. Loumiet Chair-Elect of the Board.

It is anticipated that Mr. Loumiet will succeed to the Chairmanship of the Board in the fall of 2007. Mr. Loumiet has served on the Carnival Center’s Board for 13 years, serving as a Vice-President of the Board and a member of its Executive Committee, as well as Chairperson of various Board committees.

As Miami-Dade County’s largest public/private sector partnership, the Carnival Center provides three state-of-the-art venues where a diverse mix of theater, music and dance experiences are presented to the community at large. Its four resident companies are the Concert Association of Florida, Florida Grand Opera, Miami City Ballet and New World Symphony. It was inaugurated in October 2006.
