Houston, TX–(HISPANIC PR WIRE)–September 30, 2005–Aeromexico, México’s largest airline, announced the appointment of Carlos De Uriarte as West Coast Regional Director of Aeromexico’s, U.S. Division. Carlos De Uriarte will direct the commercial service strategies for the airline’s six West Coast and Midwest region gateways in the United States.
With a career that spans more than 40 years, Mr. De Uriarte has held key positions for a variety of airlines, significantly contributing to their bottom line growth. Prior to joining Aeromexico, Mr. De Uriarte held the position of senior vice president of sales and marketing, with Mexicana Airlines, International Division, where he was recognized for increasing sales revenue worldwide by nearly 30 percent. Mr. De Uriarte has also held the position of regional sales and services cargo manager for Mexico, Central and South America for Western Airlines Inc.

Mr. De Uriarte is a graduate of Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo of México, where he earned his degree in Business Administration.
