Houston, TX–(HISPANIC PR WIRE)–November 16, 2005–Aeromexico, Mexico’s largest airline, announced the appointment of Manuel Jaquez as West Coast Regional Manager of Aeromexico, U.S. Division. Jaquez will direct the sales strategies for the airline’s West Coast gateways- Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Ontario, San Diego and Tijuana.
Manuel Jaquez brings a wealth of industry knowledge over a career that spans more than 20 years. Jaquez will be responsible for managing efforts that contribute to Aeromexico’s overall sales growth, under Carlos De Uriarte, the airline’s recently appointed Regional Director Western, Central and Distribution, U.S. Division.

Prior to joining Aeromexico, Jaquez held the position of Regional Vice President of Latin America and the Caribbean with Mexicana Airlines in Miami. Jaquez has also held the position of Area Sales Manager for LACSA/Grupo TACA Airlines for the West Coast and Canada from Los Angeles.
Jaquez is a graduate of Hispano-Mexicana University, where he earned his degree in Tourism Administration.
