Aetna Creates Miami Advisory Council

Group Will Support Efforts to Better Serve Hispanic Consumers


Miami, FL–(HISPANIC PR WIRE – BUSINESS WIRE)–November 15, 2007–Aetna (NYSE: AET) announced today that it has formed the Miami Advisory Council to help Aetna better serve the Hispanic community throughout the Miami market. The council is comprised of nationally and locally recognized leaders from the community, as well as Aetna leaders.

The senior-level advisory council members will serve one-year terms and be paid an annual cash stipend. Together, they will provide increased knowledge and connections to the Hispanic community that will allow Aetna to provide culturally focused products and networks that are valuable to Miami-area residents.

Members of the advisory committee include:

— Charles P. Garcia, president of the Sterling Hispanic Markets Capital Group and chairman of the council;

— Cesar Conde, Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President of Univision Communications, Miami;

— Rev. Alberto Cutie, pastor, St. Francis de Sales, Miami Beach;

— Bernardo Fernandez, M.D., chief executive officer, Cleveland Clinic Florida;

— Aida Levitan, Ph.D., president and CEO of Levitan and Palencia and former vice chairperson and chief communications officer of Bromley Communications;

— Claudia Puig, senior vice president of Univision Radio.
