Soccer Legends Scheduled for New York Tournament

Some of the Greatest Players in the History of World Soccer Will be in New York on October 14th-17th to Compete in a Four vs. Four Tournament at the USTA National Tennis Center in Arthur Ashe Stadium

PR WIRE)–July 23, 2004–Mundial Sports International LLC, announced today the
inaugural Four vs. Four World Championships at a Press Conference held in Arthur
Ashe Stadium, home to US Open Tennis Championships.

Headlining the Press Conference
were appearances from Colombian superstar Carlos Valderrama, Ecuadorian legend
Eduardo “El Tanque” Hurtado, Mexican hero Marcelino Bernal, Colombian
International Wilmer Cabrera, and 1998 “Reggae Boys” Jamaican World
Cup team member Dean Sewell, all of whom will compete in the eight nation tournament
next October.

Noel Lemon, Chief Executive
Officer of Mundial Sports International, announced the format and schedule for
the event will be as follows:

Eight teams, each representing
a different country, will be divided into two groups and play a game against
each of their respective group members. The first and second place finishers
after group play will advance to the semi finals.

Group play will commence
on Thursday, October 14th and continue on Friday and Saturday with four games
being played each night. The semi finals, third place game and championship
match will all be played on Sunday, October 17th.

Lemon further stated “This
tournament gives the soccer community an opportunity to see these heroes of
soccer up close and personal in a magnificent stadium.”

Lemon added “negotiations
are ongoing with former Brazilian World Cup captain Dunga, his team mate Bebeto,
“Macho” Figueroa of Honduras and “Magico” Gonzalez of El
Salvador.” Each team’s final roster will be comprised of former National
team players, many of whom will have World Cup experience.

Marcelino Bernal, member
of both Mexican World Cup teams in USA 94 and France 98 said “This tournament
is a wonderful idea and gives all of the players and opportunity to showcase
their skills once again. I am really looking forward to the event.”

The tennis court in Arthur
Ashe Stadium will be covered with a state of the art artificial playing surface,
specifically fabricated for the occasion.

Tickets will be priced at
$35, $30 and $25 and go on sale August 1st at numerous locations to be announced
in the near future.

Tickets will not be available
for purchase at the USTA National Tennis Center, Inc. until Monday, October
11, 2004.

Also introduced was the
official mascot of the tournament, “Olé”.
