Bethpage, NY–(HISPANIC PR WIRE)–May 4, 2005–Cablevision Systems Corporation (NYSE: CVC) today announced the latest value enhancement to its Optimum Voice digital voice-over-cable (VoIP) service – the addition of Puerto Rico to an unlimited calling area that already includes the U.S. and Canada.

Optimum Voice is a voice service available exclusively to Optimum Online high-speed Internet customers for a flat monthly fee of $34.95. In addition to unlimited calling throughout the U.S., Canada and now Puerto Rico, Optimum Voice also includes seven custom calling features at no additional cost: enhanced voicemail, call waiting, caller ID, caller ID blocking (*67), call return (*69), three-way calling and call forwarding, in addition to directory assistance (411).
The service also includes “My Optimum Voice,” an innovative Web portal that allows customers to easily forward calls, listen to voicemail messages from any computer with Internet access, review calling records and manage other account features. Cablevision also offers a whole-house wiring option as part of the free installation process, which delivers Optimum Voice dial tone to all existing wall jacks within the home.
