Miami, FL–(HISPANIC PR WIRE)–November 9, 2005–On November 13, a Latin artist will make history at the 2005 Major League Soccer finals. SABRINA will be the first Hispanic singer to perform the National Anthem before the final game of the league.

The event will be witnessed by an expected crowd of 20,000 sports fans at the Pizza Hut Stadium in Frisco, Texas. The 21-year-old SABRINA, originally from Guatemala, will represent millions of Latinos worldwide.

She will also perform during the game’s half-time show, singing the track, “Pagame lo que me debes,” off her debut, self-titled album, which hits stores in February 2006.

“It’s truly an honor to have been selected to sing the National Anthem and be the first Latina selected by the MLS for this honor. That, and the fact that I am a huge soccer fan,” says Sabrina, enthusiastically.

It will not be the first time SABRINA performs at a sporting event, as she took the stage during her native Guatemala’s recent soccer match against the U.S.

Selected from a group of thousands of singers across the nation, SABRINA will demonstrate her vocal ability during the MLS finals, which pits the best team from the Eastern conference, against that of the Western conference.

The event will be televised by ABC sports and transmitted worldwide in 140 different countries, by ESPN International.

During her budding career, SABRINA has reached several show business milestones.

She was invited by the Latin Grammy organization to take part in Grammy Street parties in Miami, New York and Los Angeles, where she captivated the audience with her energetic performance.

SABRINA also sang “God Bless America” during the 2004 World Series, in front of more than 60,000 baseball fans.

Her performance was so impressive, she was asked to return and sing the National Anthem, an impressive achievement by an artist whose native language is Spanish.
