New York, NY–(HISPANIC PR WIRE – US Newswire)–July 14, 2006–The law firm of Constantine Cannon today released the following Advisory to merchants involved in the Visa Check/MasterMoney Antitrust Litigation:
This law firm, Constantine Cannon, is lead counsel for United States merchants in the case called Visa Check/MasterMoney Antitrust Litigation, CV 96-5238.
By the October 11, 2005 Order of the Court, all Class Members were given additional time to submit their claim forms, challenge their estimated cash payment amount or submit a request to consolidate multiple claim forms. Most Class Members, therefore, had until December 28, 2005 to take one of these actions in order to preserve their right to receive payment from the settlement fund.
Lead Counsel has continued to honor requests for claim forms made after the extended deadline for the submission of completed forms. To allow the Claims Administrator to concentrate on processing and auditing all claims that were not yet ready for payment in the June 2006 distribution, the deadline for requests for new claim forms is July 31, 2006. Class Members who have submitted a request for consolidation but who have not yet received a consolidated claim form from the Claims Administrator do not need to be concerned about this deadline.
Assistance with any other aspect of the claims process is available by calling 1-888-641-4437 or visiting the case website at http://www.inrevisacheckmastermoneyantitrustlitigation.com.
