This year 43.5 million pounds of avocados will be eaten during the Super Bowl. That’s enough guacamole dip to cover Reliant Stadium’s football field, end zone to end zone, over 7 feet deep.

To kick-off your football frenzied party, try the hearty flavor of “Gridiron Guacamole.” This hearty extra chunky guacamole recipe will make football fans go deep for a perfect score time after time. The only defense – have plenty on hand to serve with extra thick chips.

The starting line up for Gridiron Guacamole features ripe avocados along with the robust flavors of applewood smoked bacon bits, jalapeños or habanero chiles, garlic and red onions. With avocados in the line up you’re sure to be voted playoff party MVP.
