Southbury, CT based Casa Latino Franchise Corporation has acquired Danbury, CT based Casa Latino, LLC for an undisclosed amount of cash and stock. Casa Latino, LLC operates a residential real estate agency in Danbury, CT with additional offices slated to open by the 4th quarter in Bridgeport, New Haven, and Waterbury, CT.

Casa Latino Franchise Corporation President and CEO Robb Heering has announced that Raquel ‘Garcia’ Colby has been hired as Senior Vice President and General Counsel. Colby, a licensed Realtor, was formerly a law partner in the US office of the international tax and commercial law firm of Withers Bergman, LLP.

Heering said “Raquel is an extremely skilled strategist who will assist in directing and managing the growth of our franchise operations nationwide”. He added, “Casa Latino has come a long way in a very short period of time and it was imperative that we hire key professionals like Ms. Colby to bring us to the next level.”

The next level for Casa Latino includes a national franchise rollout beginning in November of this year. Ms. Colby indicated that “Casa Latino will debut its franchise operation at the National Association of Hispanic Real Estate Professionals (NAHREP) Annual Convention in Las Vegas in November.” The company will actively seek potential franchisees in dozens of key markets including but not limited to Miami, Orlando, Fort Lauderdale, Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Houston, New York, Los Angeles, and Albuquerque.
