Choice Hotels Hosts Key Prospects In Miami Beach; Reinforcing the Company’s Commitment to Increase Minority Hotel Ownership

Silver Spring, MD–(HISPANIC PR WIRE – BUSINESS WIRE)–October 13, 2005–In support of the company’s ongoing efforts to enhance the number of Hispanic franchisees in its system, worldwide lodging franchisor Choice Hotels International (NYSE:CHH) will host a networking event at the Cacao Restaurant located 141 Giralda Avenue today, October 13, at 6 pm in Miami Beach. The invitation-only event will bring prospective Hispanic hoteliers that are currently proceeding through the sales cycle together with Choice Hotels representatives while providing a networking platform to openly discuss common successes and challenges.

In May 2005, Choice Hotels launched the Choice Hotels Hispanic Owners and Managers Alliance (CHHOMA). This Alliance was developed to provide networking opportunities for Hispanic franchisees to share best practices and experiences and to serve as a platform to recruit new Hispanic franchisees to the Choice Hotels system.

CHHOMA currently has nearly 20 members and represents Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Clarion, Sleep Inn, MainStay Suites, Econo Lodge and Rodeway Inn brands across the U.S.
