GLENDALE, California, March 26 /HISPANIC PR WIRE-PRNewswire/ — Beginning Friday, April 4, the popular weekly cooking segment Cocinando con Nestlé with Chef Lorena García moves to Univision’s top-rated morning news and entertainment program, “Despierta América.”
The cooking segments will air every Friday through the end of the year and will feature charismatic chef Lorena preparing easy and tasty recipes made with Nestlé’s popular Latino brands: LA LECHERA(R), MAGGI(R), ABUELITA(R), NESTLE(R) MEDIA CREMA, and NESCAFÉ(R). Recipes featured each week are designed to bring back memories of traditional, rich Latin American cuisine. The five brands, combined as part of Cocinando con Nestlé, are widely used in Mexico and Latin American countries to make traditional recipes Latino families love.

Festival participation includes product sampling and a special appearance by chef Lorena García who rolls up her sleeves for live cooking demos. Chef Lorena García also conducts in-market media tours before and after the festivals.
