Panama City, Panama–(HISPANIC PR WIRE – BUSINESS WIRE)–April 22, 2004–Copa Airlines was named the best airline in Central America, Mexico and the Caribbean, by SkyTrax, an English market-survey company. The World Airline Survey, recognized as the largest airline passenger survey in existence, judges quality of products and services offered customers. The results of the survey, carried out between June 2003 and March 2004, were based on more than 10 million responses sent in by passengers of 90 different nationalities.

Copa Airlines was selected No. 1 in the Regional – Central American, Mexico and Caribbean category. In addition, passengers also awarded Copa four stars for its Clase Ejecutiva (Business Class), private membership club and assistance to parents traveling with children.

“This honor demonstrates the global recognition that Copa has received for the quality of its product and its high level of passenger service,” said Jorge Garcia Icaza, Commercial Vice President, Copa Airlines. “We continue to move forward with our plan of meeting the necessities and desires of our passengers and it is evident that they are rewarding us, expressing their preference for us.”
