announced the nine recipients of the inaugural El Cafe del Futuro Scholarship
Essay Contest. College students from three eligible districts submitted essays
sharing how their Latino heritage, family and community impacted their decision
to obtain a college degree, and described what they hope to accomplish with
their degrees and how they will give back to their communities. The inspiration
behind the El Cafe del Futuro campaign stems from the desire to support
the communities that have used Cafe Bustelo coffee as a staple in their
homes for decades. Cafe Bustelo is pleased to partner with HACE, an
organization that believes in championing those same communities.
El Cafe del Futuro Scholarship winners,
