USHCC Chair Named to Latino Leaders Magazine’s ‘Top 101 List’

David C. Lizárraga, TELACU President and CEO, recognized as a top leader in the Latino community

Lizárraga, President and CEO of TELACU Millenium, LLC and current Chair of the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHC) has been named by Latino Leaders Magazine as one of the “Top 101 Influential Leaders in the Latino Community.” Lizárraga’s selection by Latino Leaders Magazine was based on criteria that included level of responsibility, commitment to the Latino community, and accomplishments that demonstrate a high standard of excellence and innovation.

A renowned business leader, Lizárraga has served at the helm of TELACU for nearly 40 years and has driven its growth from a small community development corporation to the largest, most successful community development corporation in the nation with $400 million in assets.

Mr. Lizárraga has received numerous honors and awards for his community, philanthropic, and business leadership. These include: The 2003 Chairwoman’s Award from the California Hispanic Chambers of Commerce; The 2002 Minority Small Business Advocate of the Year from the U.S. Small Business Administration; The 2002 Lifetime achievement Award from the National Association of Minority Auto Dealers Association; The 2001 Thurgood Marshall Award from the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People; and, the 1992 Businessman of the Year-U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
