Latin Pop Singer Ana Cristina Chosen to Headline 2006 Orange Bowl

Miami, FL–(HISPANIC PR WIRE)–December 28, 2005–After making history last January as the first Hispanic to perform “The Star Spangled Banner” at a presidential inauguration, Cuban-American, Ana Cristina, has been chosen to perform alongside Ciara and Ruben Studdard for the 2006 Orange Bowl.

Since the release of her self-titled debut album with Sony Music International, 20 year old Ana Cristina has been truly recognized for her crystalline 5 octave vocal range and breath-taking abilities as a pianist, guitarist, and songwriter.

The Orange Bowl show is the kick-off of her national sports tour. A few of the the many performances in her tour include a show at Madison Square Garden for the New York Knicks game on January 6th, followed by shows for the New York Rangers and Miami Heat. She is also currently working with Emilio Estefan on her new album.

Ana Cristina will be performing for the Orange Bowl’s beach bash on Hollywood Beach January 2, 2006.
