Santa Barbara, CA–(HISPANIC PR WIRE)–May 9, 2006–L.A. County Supervisor Gloria Molina was honored as the 2006 Woman of the Year along side five other finalists at the 4th annual Hispanic Business magazine Woman of the Year Awards Gala on May 4, 2006 at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The exclusive event honors the accomplishments of successful Hispanic women throughout the nation who have made a significant impact in the realms of business, government, and academia. Maria Silva from KVBC News 3 in Las Vegas presided as this year’s Mistress of Ceremonies.

“I was absolutely enthralled by the speeches…It was the best awards banquet I have attended in years, primarily because I left inspired,” stated Robert L. Wells, Vice President of Bank of America.
