Miami Dolphins Join Lift Up America to Provide Food, Improved Vision, Hearing and Hope to the South Florida Community

WHO/WHAT:

The Miami Dolphins have partnered with Lift Up America to donate nearly 100,000 pounds of food, 3,000 battery packs and vision screenings to members of the South Florida community. Wayne Huizenga, Jr., Miami Dolphins players, alumni and Terry Saban will join Tyson Foods, Westlake Produce, Publix, Give the Gift of Sight (a Luxottica Group foundation), Starkey Hearing Foundation and Interstate Batteries to distribute the items to 35 local charities. Representatives of the 3,000 families benefiting from the project will be on hand to accept the donations and speak with the media.

The program will begin at 11 a.m. The food distribution will follow.
