Miami, FL–(HISPANIC PR WIRE)–November 30, 2006–(NYSE: UVN) – For the fourth consecutive sweep period, Univision finished as the 5th broadcast network in primetime among Adults 18-49 — that’s for all adults, not just Hispanics — beating every other broadcast and cable network to get there.

Since being included in the Nielsen Television Index (NTI), Univision routinely beats at least one of the Big 4 English-language networks. This November sweep period Univision outdelivered ABC, CBS, NBC or FOX on 11 out of 28 nights, or 39% of the sweep period, among Adults 18-34.

Univision’s powerhouse primetime lineup of blockbuster novelas, evening talk, investigative newsmagazine, and musical specials was instrumental in cementing its position amongst the Big 5 broadcast networks. The extraordinary popularity of its 8pm novela “La Fea Más Bella” (The Prettiest Ugly Girl) established Univision as the country’s #4 network among All Adults 18-34 Monday through Friday in its time period and outdelivered such popular programs as NBC’s “Law & Order,” “Las Vegas,” “Friday Night Lights,” and “Deal or No Deal;” CBS’s “Cold Case” and “The Unit;” and ABC’s “Daybreak” and “Wife Swap.”

Also, on the opening night of this competitive sweep, Univision’s broadcast of the Latin GRAMMY(R) Awards made it the #4 network among All Adults 18-34 and 18-49 in the country reaching more than 11 million total viewers.

“Ranking #5 in our fourth consecutive sweep period leaves no doubt about the size and power of our loyal audience,” said Alina Falcón, Executive Vice President and Operating Manager of the Univision Network. “And our ability to outdeliver one or more of the other Big 4 networks on a regular basis shows that Univision must be considered an integral part of any national television media plan.”

Additionally, Univision delivered more than four times the primetime audience of Spanish-language competitor Telemundo.

Locally, Univision stations enjoyed equally impressive November sweep results.

— In Los Angeles, Univision’s KMEX was #1 in the market, beating all other stations among Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49, in Primetime, Daytime, Early and Late News, and Total Day.

— In Dallas, Univision’s KUVN was #1 in the market, beating all other stations among Adults 18-34 during Total Day (tie), Early and Late News, along with Teens 12-17 in Daytime (tie).

— In San Francisco, Univision KDTV, was also #1 for Adults 18-34 in Total Day (tie) and Late News, #1 for both Adults 18-34 and Adults 18-49 (tie) in Daytime and Early News, and among Teens 12-17 in Daytime and Early News.
