Dos Corazones Films & the Hispanic Heritage Society proudly invites you to the Premiere of “GUADALUPE,” a film evidencing once more that even in the 21st Century the marvelous story of the apparition of the Virgin, reflected in the Indian Juan Diego’s cloak, continues to have a profound emotional effect on humanity.

This Mexican film focuses on the mysteries of the Brown Virgin, and the story takes place in the current era when Jose Maria and his sister Mercedes, two scientists who have devoted their lives to archeology and history, decide to investigate the legend of the Guadalupe Virgin driven by their curiosity and their life’s work, not knowing that their lives will soon radically change.

The stellar cast of Mexican actors includes Angelica Aragon, Jose Carlos Ruiz, Eric del Castillo, Pedro Armendariz Jr., Ivana Mino, Aleix Albareda, Fabian Robles, Gemma Guilemany, among others, under the General Direction of Santiago Parra, Direction and Production in Mexico of Roberto Girault, Direction and Production in Spain of Laila Coli, with Screenwriter Tessie Gutierrez de Picasso and Cinematography by Carlos Arenal and Luis Parra. The entire team has recreated in this cinematic production the beauty and cultural richness of which we all form a part.
