Hollywood, FL–(HISPANIC PR WIRE)–November 20, 2003–The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Southern Florida Chapter will auction off a complete custom kitchen valued at over $40,000, along with over a hundred other magnificent items, at their 1st Annual Decorate, Dine & Donate Auction on Friday, November 21, 2003. The elegant evening expects over 300 guests that are ready to “tie up Leukemia” at the funky tie and martini theme event.
The Decorate, Dine & Donate Auction will kick off it’s inaugural year with a huge bash which will feature over 100 live, silent and Chinese auction items, all to benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. The signature item is a complete custom kitchen that includes; top of the line appliances, cabinetry, granite countertops, fixtures, hardware and design and installation. Other fun items for the home that will peak partygoer interests are a Jacuzzi tub and a state of the art electronic bidet.
Bill Feinberg, president of Allied Kitchen & Bath, is the brainchild of the inaugural event. After he lost his father, Nate Feinberg, to Leukemia this past Spring, Bill had the immediate reaction to get involved and do what he could to help put an end to blood cancers. The event is in memory of Nate Feinberg and the hundreds of thousands of others that have and will succumb to the disease.
To benefit The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society’s efforts to fund research to find cures for leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin’s lymphoma and myeloma, and to provide education and patient services for patients with these diseases, their families and communities. Since it began in 1949, the Society has invested more than $280 million in blood cancer research.
The event will take place at the exquisite showroom of Florida Builder Appliance at 1742 W. Atlantic Boulevard in Pompano Beach.
Friday, November 21, 2003. The funky-tie and martini party will kick things off at 7:00 PM with the silent and Chinese auctions from 7:00 PM – 9:00 PM and live auction at 9:00 PM – 10:00 PM.
