Fiesta Buchanan’s now moves on to Chicago, IL, and will be presenting at Club Noa Noa on June 4th. “Buchanan’s is proud to be associated with Los Vencedores del Norte tour because of their perseverance in conquering and transmitting a positive message across borders,” said Emma Medina, Buchanan’s Scotch Whisky Brand Manager, “We are honored to have the opportunity to celebrate hand in hand the music and traditions of the Mexican community; with Buchanan’s the essential remains”

Los Vencedores del Norte combines a subtle blend of traditional Mexican Norteña music, mainly Norteña, with world rhythms such as Colombian cumbia, American pop and boleros combined with heartfelt lyrics narrating migrant struggles as evoking memories from the old country. The band’s origins can be traced back to the late 1980’s when a team of musicians formed a group under the name El Camino. While on tour in México, the band members decided that the band needed a new name, one that could convey their determination to succeed across the border. El Camino was officially changed to LOS VENCEDORES DEL NORTE.

The tour is free to the public. People interested in attending the concerts in Chicago can call 1-877-893-8478 for more details or visit the aforementioned club.

“We are proud to be associated with a champion brand such as Buchanan’s Scotch Whisky that supports the Hispanic community in Milwaukee, Indianapolis and Chicago” said Los Vencedores del Norte lead singer Martín Olivares. “We are looking forward to seeing our fans, family and friends at the concerts.”
