MIAMI, May 24 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — Barbara Bermudo, host of Univision’s national news program “Primer Impacto,” celebrated her baby Mia Andrea’s first birthday with a party in Miami hosted by Fisher-Price(TM) – and surrounded by family, friends and some lucky radio contest winners.
“It’s hard to believe that an entire year has gone by since I first held my beautiful baby in my arms and learned the meaning of unconditional love!” Bermudo exclaimed. “I’m thrilled that Fisher-Price has joined my family and friends once again in celebrating this miracle in our lives.”
Mia Andrea’s birthday party took place at Miami’s Cool-de-Sac PlayCafe, where the tiny guests played with all the interactive play areas and with the latest Fisher-Price infant and preschool toys, and interacted with Little People(TM) characters. In March 2009, Fisher-Price hosted Bermudo’s baby shower at a Miami restaurant. Bermudo and her many fans welcomed Mia Andrea Moreno Bermudo to the world on May 15, 2009.
“For generations, Fisher-Price has been part of the joy surrounding babies’ births and birthdays,” said Brenda Andolina, Director of PR and Brand Marketing, Fisher-Price. “We were delighted to share in Barbara’s happiness once again and to provide a ‘Little People’-themed environment to make Mia Andrea’s first birthday party even more special.”
A week prior to the May 22 party in Miami, listeners of Univision Radio’s Tardes Calientes (Amor 107.5 FM) had a chance to participate in a contest related to the event. Nine contest winners, all mothers with children 1-4 years old, joined Mia Andrea at the party. Contest winners also received Fisher-Price gift baskets.
“Now that I know what a joy it is to be a mom, I can’t wait to welcome my next baby into our family!” Bermudo said. She and her husband are expecting their second child.
