San Juan, Puerto Rico–(HISPANIC PR WIRE)–September 13, 2007–The U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation (USHCC Foundation) will host a panel discussion with national experts on wealth building accumulation strategies that will help small businesses grow and succeed in the competitive market.
The panel discussion called “Expanding the Globe: A Case Study of the Latino Entrepreneur Experience,” will be held on Thursday, September 20, from 2:30 to 4:30 pm, at the Puerto Rico Convention Center, Room 202. The session is a part of the U.S. Hispanic Chamber of Commerce 28th Annual National Convention and Business Expo that is taking place in San Juan on September 19-22, 2007.
“Wealth accumulation is the key to advancement of the Hispanic community. In this session we want to examine the role that the Hispanic business community plays in this advancement and how can Hispanic businesses have an impact in such a competitive market,” said USHCC Foundation president Frank Lopez.
The panel will include Hispanic business leaders, venture and equity capitalists, and successful Hispanic entrepreneurs to discuss the obstacles that businesses face when it comes to wealth creation. They will also offer growth strategies and what resources are available to help Hispanic companies realize their potential. Participants will learn how Hispanic businesses can serve as the vehicle for advancement of the Hispanic community. One panelist will be prominent Puerto Rico businessman Alberto de la Cruz, President and CEO of The Coca-Cola Puerto Rico Bottlers. “I am honored to participate at the USHCC Foundation’s convention in Puerto Rico.
