Corks from any of Gallo Family Vineyard’s great tasting wines can be mailed back to the winery to benefit the Meals On Wheels Association of America efforts to end senior hunger. For every cork received from August 1 to December 31, 2012, a $5 donation, up to $90,000, will be made to Meals On Wheels. An additional $10,000 will be donated through Gallo Family Vineyard’s Facebook page where fans can make a difference by playing a fun, interactive game.
“We are proud to have Gallo Family Vineyards support the work of Meals On Wheels,” said Stephanie Gallo, a third generation Gallo family member. “For the third year in a row, the Every Cork Counts program allows our family to help the millions of seniors who needlessly face the threat of hunger every day.”
