The move is designed to meet the demands of US tourism service providers seeking to attract more Mexican travelers.
Company founder and Director General Carlos Ulibarri cited the importance that the Mexican market has for the US tourism industry as the main reason Grupo bt decided to expand northward. “Mexico is now the second-largest exporter of travelers to the United States, more than 12 million Mexican travelers visit our northern neighbor each year, representing 28% of the total number of foreign visitors to (the US),” Ulibarri said.
