NEW YORK–(HISPANIC PR WIRE – BUSINESS WIRE)–Feb. 7, 2003–HBC New York, Inc. (“HBC New York”), a subsidiary of Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation (NYSE:HSP), announced today the managerial appointment of Scott Elberg as Director of Sales for WADO(AM) 1280 and WCAA(FM) “Latino Mix” 105.9. As Director of Sales for HBC New York, Elberg will be responsible for managing the local and national sales departments as well as implementing strategies focused at attracting new business to the stations.

Elberg brings over twenty years of radio sales and management experience. Most recently, Elberg was General Manager of Clear Channel’s New York City radio stations, WKTU (FM) and HTZ (FM). He joined WKTU (FM) and WHTZ (FM) in 1996 as General Sales Manager and was promoted to General Manager in 1999. Before joining Clear Channel, Elberg spent many years with Infinity/CBS in New York, New York and Boston, Massachusetts, where he excelled in various positions in the sales and business development areas, including Local Sales Manager and General Sales Manager. Elberg began his radio career in 1982 as an Account Executive at WPLR (FM) in New Haven, Connecticut.
