DALLAS–(HISPANIC PR WIRE – BUSINESS WIRE)–Jan. 21, 2003–Hispanic Broadcasting Corporation (“HBC”), (NYSE:HSP), today announced that Thomas J. McSweeney, General Sales Manager for HBC San Diego, Inc., was recently promoted to Regional Director of Sales for the HBC Western Region, which includes the San Diego, San Francisco, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Albuquerque, and Fresno markets. McSweeney’s duties will be to help each West Region market hire and train top sales people and sales management personnel, direct West Regional sales calls to maximize effective advertising campaigns for HBC advertisers plus maximize revenues for the Western Region. This new position is designed to work closely with our Western markets, concentrating on structuring, training, and maximizing revenues. It is important to continue to dedicate ourselves to excellence, and provide our listeners and customers a quality product.” McSweeney was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area and graduated from the University of San Francisco. He was named Salesperson of the Year in 1995, promoted to New Business Sales Manager for the Chicago market, which included WOJO(FM), WIND(FM) and WLXX(AM), and later promoted to Local Sales Manager for WOJO(FM).
