Ft. Lauderdale, FL–(HISPANIC PR WIRE – BUSINESS WIRE)–September 6, 2007–Holy Cross Hospital and UnitedHealthcare, a UnitedHealth Group (NYSE:UNH) company, have reached a new agreement, extending a more than decade-long partnership to offer patients continued access to quality, affordable health care.

The renewal also includes Neighborhood Health Partnership (NHP).

The agreement includes all services provided by Holy Cross Hospital as well as participation by the Holy Cross Medical Group, which has more than 20 physician offices throughout Broward County, and Holy Cross HealthPlex, Holy Cross’s ambulatory surgical center located at 1000 NE 56th St. in Ft. Lauderdale. Health plans covered under this agreement include UnitedHealthcare’s HMO, PPO plans as well as Secure Horizons Medicare and AmeriChoice Medicaid plans.
