New York, NY–(HISPANIC PR WIRE)–April 20, 2006–Television personality and Hispanic food and décor guru Ingrid Hoffmann signed a publishing deal for her first cookbook slated for release in 2007. In a deal arranged by literary agent David Kuhn of Kuhn Projects, the book will be published by the prestigious Clarkson Potter division of Random House, the lifestyle publisher behind many of today’s bestselling food and décor titles (Random House Inc. is a division of Bertelsmann AG).
Hoffmann’s cookbook will feature affordable and easy recipes and entertainment ideas, all flavored by her signature Latin zest for life. Pam Krauss, SVP, Executive Editor at Clarkson Potter, is the editor of many bestselling Clarkson Potter cookbooks by Ina Garten, Rachel Ray, Giada De Laurentiis and others, and will edit and oversee the project.
“My goal is for the book to become the definitive guide to modern Latin cooking, featuring meals that are fun and easy to make,” Hoffmann says. “The recipes and meals will range from traditional Hispanic favorites to completely new creations, each with my own signature style.”
Krauss said Ingrid is a great addition to Clarkson Potter’s stellar lineup of accomplished food and design authors. “Ingrid’s culinary creations, appearing on Spanish television and in her columns, have won her many fans,” Krauss says. “We are very excited and proud to have her join the Clarkson Potter group of authors.”
