Javier Ceriani’s Intervention Results in the Liberation of Cuban Political Prisoners Detained in Mexico

The just released Jorge Luis Cross Arencibia, President of the José Martí Revolutionary Party and his wife Yadeli Espi Bermudes. Jorge Luis Cruz Arencibia had a private meeting with Zona Cero’s team during their recent visit to the prison and gave them all his documents and credentials in a gesture of total trust.

The group of Cubans that had been held in the prisons of Tapachula, Chiapas and the city of Chetumal, -capital of the state of Quintana Roo- located in the peninsula of Yucatan, have maintained constant contact Zona Cero since December 2007, when Javier Ceriani uncovered their case and numerous artistic and political personalities joined the campaign initiated by the radio program.
