Jusmir Gonzalez, who had played to date as deputy editor, will be responsible for leading the new phase of the magazine which will undertake editorial changes for US Hispanic Market.
Gonzalez, who has over 22 years of experience in the print media, initiated her journalism career in her native country, Venezuela, where she wrote for prestigious media as Bloque de Armas and El Nacional, a daily newspaper, she wrote in diverse sections where she came to interview both, important celebrities and ex-presidents of Venezuela.
In 1996, she emigrated to the United States, where she continued her journalism career, first as reporter at Editorial Televisa and later as Editorial Director of TVyNovelas USA magazine. In 2003, she joined the executive team of the multicultural advertising agency Alturas Communication, where she stood out as Executive for the Spanish Content and acquired a vast experience in the U.S. Hispanic audience. After a brief professional recess due to the birth of her second child she returned in 2004 to showbiz journalism, serving as Deputy Director for TVnotas USA.
