Los Angeles, CA–(HISPANIC PR WIRE – BUSINESS WIRE)–July 19, 2005–Underscoring its mission to bring Latino sports fans closer to their favorite athletes and teams, Fox Pan American Sports today announced the nominees for the 3rd Annual Premios Fox Sports, the only awards program of its kind to recognize the contributions and accomplishments of Latino athletes and personalities from the world of sports both on and off the field. Winners in 13 categories will be voted on exclusively by fans and crowned during the official Premios Fox Sports awards ceremony to be held December 5, 2005 at the Jackie Gleason Theater of Performing Arts in Miami Beach, Florida. Voting starts today and runs through October 16, 2005 at http://www.premiosfoxsports.yahoo.com.

Among this year’s nominees are Florida Marlins’ standout Carlos Delgado (Baseball); Emanuel Ginobili from the San Antonio Spurs (Basketball); Guillermo Coria (Tennis); and Juan Pablo Montoya (Motor Sports), among many other deserving athletes and individuals from the world of sports.
