American Bible Society Finds New Groove in Reggaeton Partnership

The CanZion Group signs three-year partnership to promote the Bible


New York, NY–(HISPANIC PR WIRE)–May 18, 2007–American Bible Society announced today that its increasingly popular campaign, “La Biblia Es Mi Guía” (“The Bible is My Guide”), has garnered a new audience through a partnership with Latin Christian music label the CanZion Group. The new collaboration will include the release of a special album, A Fuego Con La Palabra, which will feature 14 original songs written by today’s most influential Christian Reggaeton artists specifically for the “La Biblia Es Mi Guía” campaign.

The American Bible Society and the CanZion Group have formed a three-year partnership that will include the promotion and distribution of A Fuego Con La Palabra in the United States and throughout Latin America. Leading Reggaeton artists Manny Montes, Dr. P, Quest and other chart-topping artists have donated their songs, time and talent for the album and events further promoting “La Biblia Es Mi Guía”.

“La Biblia Es Mi Guía” is a national Bible advocacy campaign focused on reaching Latinos throughout the U.S. and the world by collaborating with prominent figures to encourage Bible reading, so that individuals can experience its life-changing message.
