DENTON, Texas, Jan. 4, 2012 /PRNewswire/ — The 18th annual Sally Beauty Best Tressed® Survey, commissioned by Sally Beauty Supply, takes a look back at 2011’s best and worst celebrity hairstyles by asking American women to cast a vote on the good, the bad and the ugly. Additionally, the survey asked participants to weigh in on their own styling habits, which yielded interesting results.

2011 proved it was not a winning year for Charlie Sheen and Lindsay Lohan, with both taking
home Worst Hairstyle honors. Voters agreed that royal hair ruled, and bestowed upon Kate Middleton the title of Best Female Hairstyle. Ryan Gosling may not have won sexiest man alive, but his luscious locks narrowly beat out Bradley Cooper, earning him the Best Male Hairstyle of 2011. Kelly Ripa’s blonde ‘do was overwhelmingly voted as the best television personality hairstyle.
