New York, NY–(HISPANIC PR WIRE)–October 4, 2005–Univision Radio’s La Kalle 105.9 FM, New York’s premier Urban Latino radio station, along with presenting sponsor McDonalds and title sponsor Toyota, SOLD OUT Madison Square Garden in New York City Wednesday night, September 28, 2005, when the Reggaeton genre was brought from the streets of New York to the stage of Madison Square Garden in a state-of-the-art show that was unlike any other Reggaeton concert in scale and proportion. Eighteen thousand La Kalle listeners came out in support of the definitive Reggaeton concert of the year.

La Kalle’s Block Party featured the best of Reggaeton and Latin hip-hop artists, including Ivy Queen, Wisin Y Yandel, Voltio, Nina Sky, Hector El Bambino, Zion and Lennox, Cuban Link, Glory and NORE, and Elephant Man, among others. The concert featured a special surprise guest, DON OMAR, who drove the sold-out Madison Square Garden crowd crazy and rocked the stage. He surprised the audience once again during his performance when he brought out ANTHONY from Aventura and joined him in a performance of “Ella Y Yo” from Aventura’s new album ‘God’s Project’. Full of surprises, fireworks, hot artists and the hottest, loudest audience that Madison Square Garden had even seen, La Kalle’s block party was truly the event of the year.
