To accompany the unveiling of the billboard, the non-profit has also organized a NYC Chapter Tweetup immediately following it, which will take place at the Heineken New York City Offices. During the tweetup, several lucky winners will also have a chance to win tickets to the conference, one of the most anticipated social media events of the year.
The billboard unveiling is part of the organization’s celebration leading up to its bilingual National conference, to be held in Chicago in November 9 to 11, 2011. “We are absolutely ecstatic about this billboard,” said Elianne Ramos, Vice-Chair, Communications and PR for LATISM. “New York City is home to one of our strongest chapters. Having a presence on one of the most highly trafficked public places in the world will certainly make an impactful display of pride in our membership, and the celebration will allow us to give back to our amazing New York community the chance to win some tickets and join us at the Conference in Chicago.”
The billboard was made possible thanks to a partnership with PR Newswire, one of the conference media partners.
