NY City, NY–(HISPANIC PR WIRE)– September 23, 2002–Daisy Expósito-Ulla, Chairman & CEO, The Bravo Group, announces the promotion of Linda De Jesús, 39, from SVP, Managing Partner to President, effective immediately.

Citing the sustained growth of the largest Hispanic Marketing Communications Agency in the United States, and the need for a more consolidated management structure, Expósito-Ulla praised her choice of De Jesús as “a passionate, results-oriented, client-driven professional who possesses the qualities necessary to lead as President of The Bravo Group.”

In early 2000, Advertising Age named Linda De Jesús, one of Advertising’s “Women to Watch,” a distinction bestowed upon selected women executives who are destined for greatness in the industry. Less than two years later, Linda is being promoted to President of The Bravo Group. This accomplishment does not come as a surprise. Since joining Bravo 14 years ago, as an Account Executive, Linda has risen through the ranks by holding several key management positions. One of these included opening up the Bravo San Francisco office where she became its first General Manager.

The announcement of the promotion comes at a time when Expósito-Ulla expands her corporate responsibilities beyond Bravo to include the management of multicultural agencies Mosaica and Kang & Lee. Her own title change from President to the new position of Chairman & CEO occurred earlier this year, paving the way for Linda to move up to take on the role of president. As Bravo enters its eighth consecutive year as the number one US Hispanic Advertising agency in the country, the partnership of Expósito-Ulla and De Jesús is sure to continue to lead the company with the passion, commitment, integrity and innovation that has brought about Bravo’s current success.

Linda De Jesús comments on her new position: “This is a dream foretold from my first part-time secretarial job at an agency in Puerto Rico, many years ago. Now it’s time to put the dream aside and tackle the challenge ahead,” she said.

The Bravo Group creates Spanish-language integrated marketing communications programs, which are designed to establish strong product positions in the Hispanic consumer segment. Established in 1980, the Bravo Group had billings of over $260 million in 2001.
