Spanish-Language Radio Spot Says Fiorina Represents Latino Values

WASHINGTON, Oct. 26 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — The Latino Partnership for Conservative Principles, a leading voice for Latinos, today launched a new radio ad in California criticizing Sen. Barbara Boxer (D-CA) for undermining Latino values. The 60-second ad is airing on general market Spanish stations in central and Southern California.

“Latinos have been lied to by liberals for too long,” said Alfonso Aguilar, executive director of the Latino Partnership for Conservative Principles. “We have seen more Latino voters move to Fiorina because she shares their values, especially on abortion, immigration, and marriage.”

The English translation of the ad, which can be heard at, says:

“Barbara Boxer is not a friend of Latinos. In fact, she has worked against the values Latinos hold sacred. She helped defeat the bipartisan immigration reform bill of 2007 and Boxer opposes a guest worker program. And she has fought to expand abortion and legalize same sex marriage.

On November 2nd vote for a Senator who truly values Latinos and who shares Latino values. Vote for a Senator who will defend marriage, who will protect the unborn, and will work to fix our broken immigration system.

On November 2nd, vote your values. Vote Carly Fiorina.”

The Latino Partnership recently concluded its 10-day “Tus Valores” bus tour of California that spanned more than 2,500 miles getting out the vote for Carly Fiorina. It visited major Hispanic neighborhoods and drew noisy protests from union groups such as the SEIU. Please visit to learn more about the bus tour and campaign.

The Latino Partnership for Conservative Principles promotes conservative values and ideals within the Latino community and works to integrate Latinos into fuller and more active participation and leadership in the conservative movement. It is an initiative of American Principles In Action.
