Miami, FL–(HISPANIC PR WIRE)–February 28, 2006–For the fourth consecutive year, Merrill Lynch (NYSE: MER) is proud to present arteaméricas, a Latin American art exhibition featuring more than 200 renowned and up and coming artists from 50 of the most prestigious art galleries in the region and throughout the United States. The event, which will be held March 3 – 6, 2006 at the Coconut Grove Convention Center in Miami, Florida, will feature Latin art from 19 countries in Latin America, the United States and Western Europe.

This year galleries from New York, Los Angeles, Dallas and Miami will be participating in the event. The prestigious group of local galleries include: Diana Lowenstein Fine Arts, The Americas Collection, Alejandra Von Hartz Fine Arts and Praxis International Art.
The exhibition will include paintings, sculptures, photographs, installations and videos from great masters and young artists and will include a section dedicated to contemporary art trends. Art collectors and experts will be guest speakers at Latin American art conferences taking place during the exhibit at the Coconut Grove Exhibition Center. The full-color fair catalogue will also be available for sale at Miami’s Books For Books retail outlets.
