NEW YORK, Aug. 29, 2011 /PRNewswire-HISPANIC PR WIRE/ — Metropolitan National Bank®, a New York City-based community bank, has hired Al Botta for the position of Senior Vice President, Metropolitan National Bank, and Senior Vice President, Marketing & Operations, CashZone®, a wholly owned subsidiary of the Bank.
Mr. Botta, who has more than 10 years experience with all facets of prepaid cards and a total of 17 years in the payments and card industry, will be responsible for expanding Metropolitan National Bank’s prepaid card business. The Bank, which has to date focused exclusively on New York City, will now expand its efforts regionally and nationally. Mr. Botta will spearhead this drive.
