New Miller Lite commercial stimulates the Hispanic imagination with soccer and a hot quarrel between two women

Milwaukee, WI–(HISPANIC PR WIRE)–April 7, 2003–Miller Brewing Company announced today the launch of a new Spanish version of the “Catfight” commercial. The “Catfight Stadium” commercial is the second commercial of the popular series that has captured the imagination and generated a wide range of discussions among the American and Hispanic audiences.

The version created specifically for the Hispanic market in the United States, “Catfight Stadium,” was taped in the Azteca de México stadium and included special participation from three important Mexican soccer players: Erubey Cabuto from the Querétaro team, Johan Rodríguez from Santos Laguna and Rafael “Chiquis” García from Toluca.

The sensual Argentinean models Verónica Romero and Claudia, stars of the commercial, start to fight in the stands of the Azteca stadium in the middle of an important soccer game, defending the great taste and less filling of Miller Lite beer. In the middle of the quarrel, both models fall onto the field distracting one of the goalies who lets a goal go by from being spellbound with the beautiful Argentinean women.

As part of the dissemination plan for the commercial, Miller Lite will transmit the 30 second commercial on Telemundo, Univision, Galavision, Fox Sports in Spanish and Telefutura. The commercial that will surely be the topic of conversation among Hispanics was created to give free rein to the imagination of Latinos with fantasies that they usually share among friends while enjoying a “Miller Time.”
