NAHP Inc. and Foundation held Elections at the Annual Convention in Los Angeles


Washington, DC–(HISPANIC PR WIRE)–March 24, 2004–The National Association of Hispanic Publications, Inc., announced its new regional members on Friday, March 19th for the 2004-2006 term. The NAHP Foundation re-elected its board officers.

The Regional Board was elected from a cross-section of established Hispanic publishers who will contribute to NAHP Inc. administration and policy development. The Board consists of 13 NAHP, Inc. members with staggered two-year terms

“The Regional Vice-chair position has never been implemented formally. We now expect that vice-chairs will have a much more active role in the decision-making of NAHP, Inc. policies,” said Oscar Reyes, Vice-President of NAHP Inc. and publisher of the newspaper El Pregonero.

The following members were elected or re-elected to positions on NAHP, Inc.’s Regional Board for the 2004-2006 term. Their regions and publications are also listed:

Region 1 – Connecticut, Delaware, District of Columbia, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Virginia, Vermont.
