Gardena, CA–(HISPANIC PR WIRE – BUSINESS WIRE)–May 30, 2006–Nissan North America, Inc. (NNA) recently awarded $25,000 to the Boys & Girls Clubs of East Los Angeles to fund its SMART Ride Program, which provides families with transportation to and from after-school activities.
The check was presented at the conclusion of El Reto Final Nissan, a one-of-a-kind soccer match between Team Mexico and Team USA that crowned North America’s ultimate champion on May 21st at the Home Depot Center in Carson, Calif. Children from the Boys & Girls Clubs also participated in game day duties by serving as ball boys and girls.
