Hosted by well-known actor and television personality Victor Noriega, the hottest talent contest on Spanish-language television begins Sunday, January 9, on the TeleFutura Network.
Combining musical performances with the behind-the-scenes, non-scripted drama of a reality show, “Objetivo Fama” fever unfolds Sunday, January 9 and 16 at 7pm with “Camino a Objetivo Fama, Audiciones No. 1 & 2” (Countdown to Objective Fame, Auditions 1 & 2). TeleFutura will take TV viewers through the audition process that was held in Los Angeles, Miami, Chicago, San Juan, Houston, New York, Phoenix, and San Francisco. On Sunday, January 23 at 7pm, Hispanic America gets an intimate look into the 20 finalists vying for the musical opportunity of a lifetime on “Las Estrellas de Objetivo Fama” (Objective Fame’s Superstars).
Contestants will actually live together as part of a training academy during which they will take intense voice and dance lessons and perform onstage for judges selected from the entertainment industry – all the while being followed by TeleFutura’s cameras. Beginning January 30 and each subsequent Sunday, judges will identify contestants who may be eliminated from the competition. Before the final decision is made, the academy’s director will save one contestant from being sent home. Hispanic America will save another candidate from elimination by casting its vote via a toll free number or sending a text message via a Cingular Wireless handset. Cingular Wireless users can also take part in the first interactive cross platform sponsorship that integrates polling, wallpapers, ring tones and trivia provided by Univision Móvil, enabling exciting fan participation on a whole new level.
Viewers will share this thrilling journey with the young contestants as they work toward realizing their objective: fame!
